Legal Compliance

How should first line managers handle FMLA -- Sexual or Racial Harassment -- Inclusion?  What's right?  What's legal?  First Cut Communications's dramatizations, graphics, narratives help keep your entire team free of expensive attention from aggressive plaintiffs' attorneys.

AGTS "Sexual Harassment"
Recent Supreme Court decisions and EEOC Guidelines have made it clear that employers should not simply hand out an anti-harassment policy but provide training on how to prevent sexual harassment and other forms of workplace harassment.   First Cut Communications's "Handling the Complaint" videos -- produced for Audio Graphics Training Systems -- provided employees and managers legally sound and engaging instruction on this critical topic.

LaborLawTutor "The Noose"
First Cut Communications is often called upon by attorneys to help illustrate complicated legal concepts to various audiences.  Based on a true incident, "The Noose" dramatizes one African American's reaction to finding a hangman's noose on his computer and the harassment issues his employer must then address.  LaborLawTutor, provider of web-based training, commissioned First Cut Communications to produce a group of twenty such dramatic illustrations.

Continental Airlines "Diversity"
When asked to help with Continental Airlines' ongoing Diversity Training, First Cut Communications and Continental came up with "Doing Your Part", a video that called all employees to greater sensitivity awareness.  One vignette in this program cautioned co-workers against unwelcome touching, no matter how innocent or well intentioned it may be.
